Fair dealing in equal parts spaceship music, dandy funk and government jazz, tiltawhirl is a dynamic five-piece genre-bending musical ride that hails from the North Shore of Massachusetts. Since forming in 2018 as an acoustic trio, the band has been growing, writing, gigging, and establishing a unique sound. Playing across genres, their sound is eclectic and unpredictable.  They weave through an extensive songbook, melding folk, rock & roll, blues, grass, reggae, improv, and americana pop.

The band has appeared at Salem Art’s Fest, Beverly Homecoming, Mystic Music Fest, the Topsfield Fair and also monthly residencies at the Chagall Performance Art Collective in Salem and at Delphine’s Kitchen in Beverly.

Author and longtime collaborator/accomplise Sean Devlin writes, “…tiltawhirl’s genius, mastery of craft and easy camaraderie are reflected back by an appreciative and smiling audience…”
